| Spanish abstract | Se denomina acoso escolar o “Bullying” a aquellas acciones negativas de diferentes tipos que lleva a cabo un alumno (el agresor) o varios de ellos de manera repetida y durante un tiempo a otro alumno (la víctima). El presente trabajo hace una valoración acerca de la actualidad del tema, así como de algunos estudios que se han llevado a cabo sobre el mismo. La preocupación por el acoso escolar se evidencia en un creciente número de investigaciones que se han desarrollado desde diferentes áreas, tanto desde la Psicología, la Sociología como la Pedagogía. Estos estudios anteriores constituyen un punto de partida obligado para el desarrollo de próximas investigaciones en el contexto educativo a los diferentes niveles |
| English abstract | This article makes an assessment of nowadays´ importance of the topic called “School harassment” or “Bullying”, and of some studies undertook about this topic. School harassment is simply defined as those negative actions from different types that a student (the bully or aggressor) or several of them repeatedly and for a time undertake against another student (the victim). This topic is actually evident in a growing number of researches that have been developed from different areas such as Psychology, Sociology as well as Pedagogy. These researches constitute an obliged starting point to go on deepening on other educational contexts in different school levels |
