| Spanish abstract | El objetivo del presente artículo es realizar un análisis iconográfico e iconológico sobre la obra pictórica “La fusión de dos culturas” del muralista Jorge González Camarena. La finalidad es demostrar si la vestimenta de los guerreros presentes en la obra antes mencionada, corresponde al atavío. Lo anterior, con base en las fuentes arqueológicas que dan un acercamiento más preciso; también contextualiza, más a fondo, dónde se sitúan las representaciones pictóricas.
