| Spanish abstract | El presente artículo resultado de investigación reflexiona sobre dos (2) amistades intelectuales: cuatro (4) creadores cuyas colaboraciones recíprocas ayudan a elucidar esa tradición cultural que algunos pensadores localizan en Hispanoamérica y califican de “barroca”. Por un lado, la honda amistad entre María Zambrano y José Lezama Lima delata la urgencia de forjar —por medios filosóficos y poéticos— una teología sincrética más adecuada para nuestro paisaje. Por el otro, la breve relación entre Eugenio D’Ors y Pablo Picasso elucida la importancia de lo fugaz y lo lúdico para la creación artística pero también para la crítica filosófica. Así, al confrontar esas dos (2) amistades, será posible intuir con mayor claridad la función del arte y la figura del artista en nuestros tiempos neobarrocos |
| English abstract | The present investigation discusses on two (2) intellectual friendships: four (4) creators whose reciprocal collaborations help to explain the cultural tradition that some thinkers have found in Hispanic America and have labeled as “baroque”. On one side, the deep friendship between Maria Zambrano and José Lezama Lima highlights the urgency to construct —by philosophical and poetic means— a syncretic theology, more appropriate for our landscape. On the other side, the brief relationship between Eugenio d’Ors and Pablo Picasso explains the importance of what is fugacious and playful, not only for artistic creation but for philosophical analysis. Thus, by confronting these two (2) friendships, it will be possible to understand more clearly the art’s role and the depiction of the artist in our neo-baroque times |
