| English abstract | This paper is based in a research in the early childhood education area and its main goal was to describe, analyze, and interpret the dynamics of the relationships that adults and children establish in the spaces where they interact inside a daycare. In order to capture the dynamics of the social relationships of this daycare, a methodology of ethnographic inspiration was used and written and photographic material was produced in the observations. Aiming at broadening the examination of that social reality, a socio-spatial study of the daycare facilities and of the adults and children involved in that school was carried out. Using the framework of the sociology of childhood, we focused on analyses of the relationships inside the daycare between adults and children and these to each other, as active social actors in the processes of socialization. By the analysis categories constructed for such end, it was possible to conclude that both in the conflict and tension relationships and in the ones that seemed more harmonic, adults and children produced symbolic representation regarding the world with which they interact and, in the case of the children, the elaboration of childhood cultures |
| Portuguese abstract | Este estudo diz respeito a uma pesquisa na área da educação infantil, cujo objetivo principal foi descrever, analisar e interpretar as dinâmicas das relações que adultos e crianças estabelecem entre si nos espaços/tempos em que convivem no interior de uma creche. A fim de captar as dinâmicas das relações sociais dessa creche, foi utilizada uma metodologia de orientação etnográfica e recursos de registros escritos e fotográficos. Com a finalidade de ampliar o olhar sobre aquela realidade social efetuou-se um estudo socioespacial da creche e das duas categorias de atores (adultos/crianças) nela envolvidos. Buscando o apoio da sociologia da infância dirigiu-se o foco da análise para as relações travadas no interior da creche entre adultos e crianças e estas entre si, como atores sociais ativos nos processos de socialização. Pelas categorias de análise elaboradas para tal fim, pôde-se perceber que tanto nas relações de conflito e tensão como nas de maior harmonia adultos e crianças produzem representações simbólicas a respeito do mundo com o qual interagem e, no caso das crianças, a elaboração das culturas infantis |
