| Spanish abstract | Los significados constituyen el eje central en la práctica docente debido a que estos orientan la labor de quienes la ejercen. El presente texto es producto de un trabajo de investigación realizado durante varios años con profesores de educación primaria en el estado de Jalisco-México. En este documento se presentan algunos hallazgos de la investigación con apoyo en la presentación de uno de los casos de estudio donde se abordan los significados desde la práctica de una maestra con diez años de experiencia en el nivel de educación básica. Específicamente, se analizaron los significados desde los conceptos de profesor y su rol en la escuela y los elementos que interviene en la práctica docente incluyendo la educación, enseñanza, y el aprendizaje. La naturaleza de la investigación es de carácter descriptivo y cualitativo, lo datos se recolectaron aplicando la entrevista a profundidad, entrevista abierta y la observación, se realizaron tres registros de observación. Las entrevistas fueron analizadas mediante la técnica de análisis fenomenológico. Como producto del estudio se pudo teorizar que los maestros construyen significados en base a la experiencia adquirida en su práctica docente, estos significados nacen de sus creencias y saberes determinados sobre, entre otros, la educación y relación educación y sociedad |
| English abstract | The meanings are the central axis in the teaching practice since these guide the work of those who practice it. This work is the result of a study conducted during several years with primary school teachers in the state of Jalisco-Mexico. This article presents some research findings from the study, supported by the discussion of one case study where meanings are approached from the practice of a teacher with ten years of experience in the basic education level. Specifically, the meanings were analyzed from the concepts of teachers and their role in the school as well as from the elements involved in the teaching practice including education, teaching, and learning. The nature of this research study is descriptive and qualitative; the data were collected through in-depth interviews, open interviews, and observations, three observation records were made. The interviews were analyzed using the phenomenological analysis technique. As a result of the study, we could theorize that teachers construct meaning based on the experience gained in their teaching practice, these meanings are created from their beliefs and certain knowledge about, among others, education and the relationship between education and society |
