| Spanish abstract | Entre 1300 y 400 a. C., los olmecas desarrollaron las características básicas de Mesoamérica. Entre ellas destacan las invenciones intelectuales, incluida la escritura. Como parte de este artículo la autora quiere construir una relación semántica entre el código gráfico y el lenguaje corporal. De hecho, ciertas actitudes del arte mesoamericano ocultan la evocación de un glifo. La cruz de San Andrés, uno de los motivos más emblemáticos de la iconografía del México antiguo, sirve de ejemplo. La autora intenta, en primer lugar, descifrar su significado y luego comparar su dibujo con posturas del cuerpo con el fin de demostrar que el contenido semántico de ambos es análogo |
| English abstract | Between 1300 and 400 BC, the Olmec civilization developed the basic characteristics of Mesoamerica. Among them, the most notable were the intellectual inventions, including writing. As part of this article, the author's objective is to build a semantic relationship between the graphic code and body language. In fact, certain attitudes of Mesoamerican art contain a hidden evocation of glyphs. The Cross of St. Andrew, one of the most emblematic motifs of the iconography of ancient Mexico, is a good example.
