| Spanish abstract | Este artículo reconstruye, desde el análisis microhistórico y una perspectiva de género, la experiencia de las mujeres que cometieron infanticidios en la provincia de Buenos Aires a principios del siglo XX. A través de la historia de vida de María Mancilla indagaremos las tensiones y contradicciones que subyacieron en l as discusiones de las sentencias judiciales de los casos de infanticidio, en las cuales las mujeres cuestionaron y resistieron la naturalidad promovida, desde e l aparato estatal, del binomio madre - hijo. En el campo de las prácticas sociales es donde encont ramos las resistencias y las tensiones que fueron más allá de los intentos de normalizar las ideas y las prácticas genéricas. De este modo, su experiencia recoge el carácter de agenciamiento de los sujetos no como individuos unificados ni autónomos sino má s bien como sujetos cuya agencia se creó a través de las situaciones y el estatus que la sociedad les confirió |
| English abstract | This article intends to rebuild, from a microhistori cal analysis and gender perspective, the experience of all mothers in the Buenos Aires province area at the beginning of the twentieth century. Through María Mancilla lifeline, we will look at the tensions and contradictions that stayed present during the discussion of the infanticide judicial sentences, were women questioned and resisted to what was established from the government in regards of the women/mother relation. In that sense, it is in the social practices field that we find the resistance and ten sions that went beyond the attempts to normalize the generic practices and ideas. On the same way, her experience shows the agency feature that the party had, not as unified or autonomus individuals but as a party that wasnborn through the all the situatio ns and the status that society gave to them |
