| Spanish abstract | Se presentan aportes sobre los portugueses en las órdenes terceras en el Río de la Plata. Especialmente, se hace referencia a laOrden Tercera de San Francisco y la nómina de sus primeros ministros. Se describen las obras religiosas, así como la participaciónde los descendientes de portugueses en las primeras y segundas órdenes franciscanas y dominicas. Una destacada bibliografíacontemporánea y fuentes originales rescatadas de los libros de los hermanos terciarios y sus ingresos son representativas desu incorporación con la declaración de sus limpiezas de sangre. Fundamental, entre sus actividades, resultan los movimientoscomerciales, roles mercantiles y financieros en los que participaron.Palabras clave: |
| English abstract | Contributions are presented on the Portuguese in the ird Orders in the River Plate. Especial reference is made to the irdOrder of San Francisco and the listings of its prime ministers. Religious works are described, in addition to pointing out thatthe descendants of the Portuguese families participated actively in the first and second Franciscan and Dominican orders. Anoutstanding contemporary bibliography and original sources were rescued mainly from the books of the tertiary brothers and theirincorporations, which are representative of their inclusion, with the declaration of their blood cleanings. Commercial movementsare essential between the tertiary brothers ́ activities and the mercantile and financial roles in which they were involved |
