| Spanish abstract | Las pymes conforman en mayor tejido empresarial en Colombia y aportan al desarrollo de la economía, por tanto, tienen implícita la obligación de ser competitivas a nivel nacional e internacional, asumiendo diferentes retos, entre ellos, la implementación de los estándares internacionales de información financiera, por lo que requieren estudios que aporten estrategias de medición de desempeño que les permita dar respuesta a las necesidades propias de su entorno, como es el caso de las industrias, en el manejo eficaz de sus costos de producción. Por lo anterior, se estableció como objetivo de esta investigación determinar las falencias y beneficios en el control de la capacidad ociosa bajo la Norma Internacional de Información Financiera - NIIF para pymes sección 13 en las industrias de Villavicencio. La metodologia utilizada fue el estudio de caso, la información se obtuvó a través de entrevista estructurada aplicada a los propietarios. Los resultados evidencian las falencias que se presentan al trabajar desarticuladamente los procesos financieros con los organizacionales, en el control de la capacidad ociosa. Así mismo muestran los beneficios de invertir en herramientas de gerencia estratégica para la optimización de costos, llevando al logro de los objetivos institucionales |
| English abstract | SMEs make up the largest business fabric in Colombia and contribute to the development of the economy, therefore, they have an implicit obligation to be competitive at the national and international level, assuming different challenges, including the implementation of international financial reporting standards, wherefore they require studies that provide performance measurement strategies that allow them to respond to the needs of their environment, as is the case of industries and the effective management of their production costs. Therefore, the objective of this research set out to determine the shortcomings and benefits in the control of idle capacity under the International Financial Reporting Standards- IFRS for SMEs section 13, in the industries of Villavicencio. The methodology used was the case study, and the information was obtained through a structured interview applied to the owners. The results show the shortcomings that arise when financial processes and organizational processes work in a disarticulated manner on the control of idle capacity. They also show the benefits of investing in strategic management tools for cost optimization, leading to the achievement of institutional objectives |
