| English abstract | The theme of the present work answers the question: how are fundamental rights violated in the news treatment by the Peruvian tabloid press? The general objective is to analyze the journalistic treatment of the newspaper Ojo in relation to a topic. This research is of a qualitative type, in which human processes are evaluated directly and deeply, considering the context that surrounds the object of study; likewise, it is of a descriptive level, since it identifies the most important variables; the design is non-experimental, to the extent that the phenomenon is observed in its natural state without modifying reality. The sample is made up of 11 issues of the newspaper Ojo, published between May and June 2011, on the disappearance and death of the student Ciro Castillo Rojo, chosen according to convenience. The techniques used are documentary observation, in-depth interview; the instruments are the observation guide and the questionnaire. |
| Spanish abstract | El tema del presente trabajo responde a la pregunta ¿cómo se vulneran los derechos fundamentales en el tratamiento noticioso por parte de la prensa sensacionalista peruana? El objetivo general es analizar el tratamiento periodístico del diario Ojo con relación a un tema. Esta investigación es de tipo cualitativa, en la que se evalúan procesos humanos de manera directa y profunda considerando el contexto que rodea al objeto de estudio; asimismo, es de nivel descriptivo, ya que identifica las variables más importantes; el diseño es no experimental, en la medida que se observa el fenómeno en su estado natural sin modificar la realidad. La muestra está compuesta por 11 ejemplares del diario Ojo, elegidos según conveniencia y publicados entre mayo y junio de 2011, en los que se brinda cobertura a la desaparición y muerte del estudiante Ciro Castillo Rojo. Las técnicas utilizadas son la observación documental, la entrevista a profundidad; los instrumentos son la guía de observación y el cuestionario. |
