| Portuguese abstract | Este trabalho busca reconstruir, analisar e contrastar a concepção de liberdade desenvolvida por Habermas em seus escritos a respeito de bioética com a concepção de liberdade na obra de Kant. Além disso, embora Habermas seja herdeiro do kantismo (ao menos ele se intitula um herdeiro de Kant), é possível traçar semelhanças e diferenças entre a posição normativa habermasiana em Die Zukunft der menschlichen Natur e a posição de Kant na Grundlegung e na Metaphysik der Sitten |
