| Spanish abstract | El estudio del proceso formativo del maestro primario en Cuba y cómo se concibe la formación profesional de este motivó la realización de la presente revisión bibliográfica, que constituye un resultado parcial de la tesis doctoral de uno de sus autores, y profundiza en las ideas básicas que sustentan la formación psicopedagógica. Entre los resultados más importantes se destacan la información que se brinda sobre los contenidos psicopedagógicos que debe dominar el maestro primario, así como la elaboración del constructo cultura psicopedagógica. | English abstract | The study of the training process of the primary teacher in Cuba and how this professional training is conceived led to the realization of this bibliographical review, which is a partial result of the doctoral thesis of one of its authors, and delves into the basic ideas that support psychopeda-gogical training. Among the most important results are the information provided about the psychopedagogical con-tents that the primary teacher must master, as well as the elaboration of the psychopedagogical culture construct.
