| Spanish abstract | La formación de individuos capaces de colaborar en los cambios y transformaciones que se vienen operando actualmente, a nivel mundial, es una necesidad y reclamo de la sociedad. La formación humanista es un encargo de la educación porque proporciona al hombre los elementos cognoscitivos indispensables para comprender mejor el mundo, apropiarse de una educación estética, conjuntamente con la afinación de la sensibilidad, y la elevación de las cualidades morales y éticas. La enseñanza-aprendizaje de la literatura a partir de la sistematización de su enseñanza en el currículo, puede colaborar en tales empeños; sin absolutizar esta, ni negar otras influencias positivas. Las autoras del presente trabajo reafirman que el contacto del estudiante con la literatura puede contribuir en la formación de un modo de pensar, el desarrollo de sentimientos, de una identidad personal y cultural, en esencia, en la consolidación del ser; reconociendo la fuerza educativa de la literatura. Develar estas aportaciones, es en esencia el objetivo del trabajo, lo cual ha sido posible a partir de la bibliografía consultada y de la experiencia de las autoras |
| English abstract | Contemporary society presents an accelerated pace of development, especially in the areas of science and technology, which requires the formation of in-dividuals able to catch up with their time and to co-llaborate on changes and transformations that have been occurring; on the other hand they must have the necessary tools to manage various hostile ten-dencies to humanity. The teaching and learning of literature could help to quit, in part, on the situation; without absolutizing this, or deny other positive in-fluences. Although, there is no doubt that from the systematization of their teaching curriculum, huma-nistic education would be achieved, contributing to the formation of better people, better citizens. The man humanistic training provides the essential cog-nitive elements to understand better the world, ap-propriating an aesthetic education, together with the tuning of sensitivity, and the elevation of the moral and ethical qualities The authors of this study reaffirm that the student contact with literature can contribute to the formation of a way of thinking, the develop-ment of feelings of personal and cultural identity, in essence, consolidation of the human being; recog-nizing the educative power of literature. Unveiling these contributions, is essentially the purpose of the work, which has been possible from the literature and accumulated experience |
