| Spanish abstract | El presente estudio tiene como objeto aproximarse a una sistematización teórica del arsenal historiográfico y de fuentes primarias, localizado, acerca de la historia de esa casa de altos estudios. Ello se cumple mediante el em-pleo de los métodos histórico-lógico, heurístico, inducti-vo-deductivo, la crítica de fuentes, entre otros. El estudio devela la insuficiente atención prestada a la temática por parte de historiadores e investigadores, la dispersión y en ocasiones raleza de las fuentes necesarias para construir la historia y examina críticamente cuanto material de ca-rácter historiográfico pudo localizarse acerca de la mis-ma. De manera conclusiva, se considera insuficiente la producción historiográfica sobre el tema -la mayoría de ella escrita bajo los criterios positivista-, diseminadas y precisadas de conservación sus fuentes primarias y se-cundarias. Se reitera la necesidad de estudiar la historia institucional, tanto a nivel general como por facultades y carreras, así como la preparación de profesionales de la Historia a encargarse de esta y otras muchas tareas |
| English abstract | The present study aims to approach a theoretical syste-matization of the historiographic arsenal and its primary, localized sources, about the history of that institution of higher education. This is accomplished through the use of historical-logical, heuristic, inductive-deductive methods, the criticism of sources, among others. The study reveals the insufficient attention given to the topic by historians and researchers, the dispersion and sometimes scarcity of the sources needed to construct the history and criti-cally examine how much historiographical material could be located about it. In a conclusive way, it is considered insufficient the historiographic production on the subject -most of it written under the positivist criteria-, dissemina-ted and precise of conservation its primary and secondary sources. It reiterates the need to study the institutional his-tory, both at a general level and for faculties and careers, as well as the preparation of professionals of History to take in charge of this and many other tasks |
