| Spanish abstract | La falta a los principios éticos en la investigación científica como falsificación y plagio, es un problema que afecta la comunidad científica en los momentos actuales. Las malas conductas en este sentido afectan la originalidad del manuscrito, ponen en duda el prestigio del investigador y la revista que lo divulga. El presente artículo tiene como propósito realizar una discusión sobre los aspectos éticos y responsabilidades legales que se deben cumplir en una investigación; así como algunos de los recursos especializados para la detección de plagio que se encuentran disponibles. Se considera que la aplicación de buenas prácticas y el cumplimiento de los principios éticos aportan credibilidad a los resultados investigativos y confiabilidad a la ciencia a la que pertenece |
| English abstract | The lack of ethical principles in scientific research such as falsification and plagiarism is a problem that affects the scientific community at the present time. The bad behaviors in this sense affect the originality of the manuscript, they question the prestige of the researcher and the journal that disseminates it. The purpose of this article is to conduct a discussion on the ethical aspects and legal responsibilities that must be met in an investigation; as well as some of the specialized resources for the detection of plagiarism that are available. It is considered that the application of good practices and compliance with ethical principles provides credibility to the research results and reliability to the science to which it belongs |
