| Spanish abstract | Aunque la expresión “texto” deriva del latín (y por ende arrastra consigo siglos de uso cotidiano), sólo después de la segunda mitad del siglo XX alcanza estatuto conceptual. ¿De qué modo un autor como Paul Ricoeur convierte la expresión “texto” en un concepto? Sugerir una respuesta a tal interrogante es el propósito que anima este escrito. Para tal finalidad se propone la siguiente conjetura, dividida en tres componentes proposicionales: a) aquello realizado como discurso escrito detenta la condición de texto; b) aquello que detenta la condición de texto se destina a un lector para que lleve a cabo una interpretación; y c) el lector que interpreta un texto puede abrirse a la comprensión de sí |
| English abstract | Although the concept “text” derive from the Latin (and therefore carries with it centuries of daily use), only achieve conceptual status after of the second half of the twentieth century. How does an author such Paul Ricoeur makes the expression “text” in a concept? The purpose of this paper is to suggest an answer to such question. For this aim it is proposed the following conjecture, divided into three propositional components, namely, a) that performed as written discourse, holds the condition of text; b) that which holds the condition of text is assigned to a reader to carry out an interpretation; c) the reader who interprets a text may be open to the understanding of oneself |
