| Spanish abstract | El transporte en todas sus modalidades ha tenido gran importancia para el desarrollo de la actividad turística. Específicamente, el aéreo es fundamental para impulsar el turismo, sobre todo en destinos donde resulta imprescindible por sus características geográficas. En este sentido, dada la extensa geografía de la República Argentina, este trabajo pretende impulsar el análisis del transporte aéreo de pasajeros bajo el contexto regional del país, haciendo hincapié en la región Litoral. En particular se analizan los arribos a la región y algunas características del turismo. Mediante el estudio realizado en la semana del 6 al 12 de febrero de 2017 se observa que existe una red aérea de rutas que conectan destinos del país y, en algunos casos, permiten su vinculación con otros países. Aun así, continúa concentrándose la mayor parte de los vuelos en la región Buenos Aires y la conexión en la región Litoral resulta insuficiente |
| English abstract | The transport in all its modalities has had great importance for the development of the tourist activity. Specifically, air transport is fundamental to boost tourism, especially in those destinations where it is essential because of its geographical characteristics or the remoteness of markets that send tourists. In this sense, given the extensive geography of the Republic of Argentina and the need for agile transport, this paper aims to promote the analysis of air passenger transport under the regional context of the country with emphasis on the litoral region. The study carried out in the week of February 6 to 12, 2017 found that there is an air network of cross-country routes that connect several points of the country, and in some cases allow its link with the outside. Even so, most flights continue to be concentrated in the Buenos Aires and the connection in litoral region is deficient |
