Spanish abstract El artículo aborda la temática referida a la gestión del conocimiento en el sector empresarial como elemento imprescindible en la toma de decisiones de la empresa para lograr alcanzar niveles competitivos en su desempeño, en la optimización del trabajo y en las relaciones de sus trabajadores en la búsqueda de soluciones a los problemas que en ella se sucintan. En este sentido las comunidades científicas juegan un papel fundamental, por ello se analiza su concepción e influencia en este empeño, en específico en la industria de la caña de azúcar
English abstract The article approaches the thematic one referred to the administration of the knowledge in the managerial sector as indispensable element in the taking of decisions of the company to be able to reach competitive levels in its acting, in the optimization of the work and in the relationships of its workers in the search of solutions to the problems that are present in her. In this sense the scientific communities play a fundamental paper, where it is analyzed their conception and influence in this zeal, in specific in the industry of the cane of sugar
