| English abstract | This paper analyzes the feminist contribution to the field of International Relations. By a discursive analysis of the traditional theories in the field, we argue that the ontological and epistemological basis that underpins these traditional theories limit the alternative configuration of the international relations. | Portuguese abstract | Neste artigo analisamos as contribuições das perspectivas feministas para a área de Relações Internacionais. A partir de uma breve análise do discurso das teorias tradicionais da área, argumentamos que a base ontológica e epistemológica que fundamentam essas teorias são limitantes para que se pense em articulações alternativas para a configuração das relações internacionais. Trazemos alguns exemplos de autores que fazem novas articulações entre ética e relações internacionais e procuramos mostrar algumas contribuições feministas nesse debate |
