| English abstract | Feminist criticism relating science and epistemo-logy has been revealed as the reason of feminist construction. Thus, the interest of philosophers and scientists on the thematic related to the specific forms of women’s knowledge. That criticism has focus on the explanations about peculiar forms of knowledge and has located itself in problems that are the root of what is called ‘knowledge’. Our concern is not about formulating a universal explanation or building a new abstraction, but of formulating new questions and issues. In the construction of the masculine as a universal being that has knowledge, there is an abstraction of the differences that society has created between men and women. When doing and feeling things, one can observe different ways for perceiving and finding articulations with reality. The present article discusses the premises of the reason as a privileged scope of knowledge in the institutionalized western science and it analyzes women knowledge as other forms of knowledge that subvert the rationality accomplished in the order of science. | Portuguese abstract | A crítica feminista com relação à ciência e à epistemologia tem se revelado a razão da construção feminista. Daí o interesse de filósofos e cientistas sobre as temáticas relacionadas com as formas específicas do conhecimento das mulheres. Essa crítica tem focado nas explicações sobre as formas particulares de conhecimento e se situado em problemas que se encontram na raiz do que se denomina o saber. Não se trata de formular uma explicação universal, de construir uma nova abstração, senão de formular novas perguntas e questões. Na construção do masculino, como ser universal que conhece, existe uma abstração das diferenças que a sociedade tem criado entre os homens e mulheres. No fazer e sentir específicos estes produzem formas distintas de perceber e, portanto, de encontrar articulações com a realidade. O presente artigo discute as premissas da razão como âmbito privilegiado do saber na ciência ocidental institucionalizada e analisa os saberes das mulheres como outras formas de conhecimento que subvertem a racionalidade cumprida na ordem da ciência. O conhecimento das mulheres é considerado irracional porque atua por debaixo da ordem racional, fora da lógica e da razão instrumental e instaura a desordem |
