| English abstract | This article follows the current formal developments of chomskyan grammar which takes into consideration the cognitive systems with which language interfaces. Based on Ticuna universe and on its expression through Ticuna language, it aims to show that some grammar domains can interface with encyclopedia knowledge, viewed as extra-linguistic knowledge. It shows new horizons to the study of the relation between culture and language and it relates the analysis to the field of sense production. In its way to conclusion, it suggests that the study of special meanings related to specific linguistic expressions is a good way to understand or try to understand the issues related to translation and interpretation |
| Portuguese abstract | Este artigo segue os desenvolvimentos formais recentes da gramática de cunho chomskyano, que leva em conta os sistemas cognitivos com os quais a linguagem faz interface. Situado no universo Ticuna e na sua expressão por meio da língua Ticuna, tem por objetivo mostrar que alguns domínios da gramática podem se articular com o conhecimento enciclopédico pensado como conhecimento extralingüístico. Aponta para novas perspectivas de estudo entre cultura e língua e relaciona a análise ao campo da produção de sentido. À guisa de conclusão, sugere que o estudo de significados especiais possuídos por determinadas expressões lingüísticas são um bom caminho para entender ou buscar entender questões de tradução/interpretação |
