| Spanish abstract | Se examina el método diplomático-archivístico como una alternativa ante la complejidad de evaluar la autenticidad de documentos de archivo en ambiente electrónico. Para ello se parte de una breve aproximación teórica sobre la Ciencia Archivística y la Diplomática. Con posterioridad se aborda el antes mencionado método desde la experiencia de los proyectos internacionales conocidos como “Preservation of the Integrity of Electronic Records (UBC)” y “The Protections of the Integrity of Electronic Records in Electronic Systems (InterPARES)”. Finalmente se presentan algunas consideraciones por parte de los autores de este artículo y se ofrecen conclusiones |
| English abstract | : The document verification-archivist method as an alternative to the complexity of assessing electronic records is examined. It begins with a brief theoretical outlook at Document Verification and Archival Science. Next, the aforementioned method is considered, on the basis of the experiences gathered by international projects such as “Preservation of the Integrity of Electronic Records (UBC)” and “Protection of the Integrity of Electronic Records in Electronic Systems (InterPARES)”.
