| Spanish abstract | Este artículo tiene por Objetivo analizar desde un punto de vista bibliométrico la evolución de las publicaciones que se han generado respecto del aprendizaje servicio entre los años 2000 y 2019. Para ello la Metodología utilizada fue recuperar datos desde la colección principal (core collection) de la base de datos ISI Web of Science (WoS), siendo analizados mediante el uso del software RStudio y el paquete estadístico Bibliometrix, junto a su interfaz web Biblioshiny. Los Resultados dan cuenta que en los últimos 5 años las publicaciones en este tema han aumentado en un 60%. Además, tanto las revistas científicas, como las universidades y los autores que poseen más relevancia en el tema son de Estados Unidos. Latinoamérica muestra una baja productividad científica en Aprendizaje Servicio (AS). Entre las Conclusiones se evidencia que el país que domina la investigación en el campo es Estados Unidos, le sigue España y Sur África. América Latina muestra un bajo nivel de productividad en el tema, lo cual constituye a la vez una oportunidad. La Originalidad en este trabajo viene a mostrar de manera concreta el desarrollo de la productividad científica en aprendizaje servicio en los últimos 10 años |
| English abstract | The objective of this article is to analyze from a bibliometric point of view the evolution of the publications that have been generated regarding service learning between 2000 and 2019. The methodology used was to retrieve data from the core collection of the ISI Web of Science (WoS) database, being analyzed using RStudio software and the statistical package Bibliometrix, together with its web interface Biblioshiny. The results show that in the last 5 years, publications on this topic have increased by 60%. In addition, the scientific journals, universities and authors with the most relevance in the subject are from the United States. Latin America shows a low scientific productivity in Service Learning (SL). Among the Conclusions, it is evident that the country that dominates research in the field is the United States, followed by Spain and South Africa. Latin America shows a low level of productivity in the subject, which constitutes at the same time an opportunity. Originality in this work shows in a concrete way the development of scientific productivity in service learning in the last 10 years |
