| Spanish abstract | Se parte de la bibliotecología y la archivología como disciplinas más antiguas y la formación de las ciencias de la información para llegar al proceso de matematización de las ciencias y las respectivas ciencias métricas pertenecientes al mundo bibliológico-informativo. Se explica el fenómeno bibliológico-informativo con su característica interdisciplinaria y se enumeran una serie de definiciones sobre la bibliometría y los enfoques como ciencia instrumental de la bibliotecología o de la bibliografología. | English abstract | It takes as starting point the librarianship and the archival discipline as the most antique disciplines and the emerging of the science of information to arrive at the process of seeing sciences through mathematics and the respective metric sciences which are part of the bibliological-informative world. The interdisciplinary character of the bibliological phenomenon is explained and a number of definitions about bibliometrics as well as their approaches as instrumental science of the librarianship and bibliographology are also enumerated. The article concludes with the a series of variables and indicators which participate in the measurements of these sciences as elements of integration and differentiation |
