| Spanish abstract | El objetivo fundamental de la investigación es socializar los aspectos más relevantes de la labor pedagógica del profesor José María Salvador Quintín Queralt Vallvé (Papá Queralt), al revelar la trascendencia de sus contribuciones a la formación del profesional de la Cultura Física en Cuba. Una parte poco investigada de la Historia de la Pedagogía es el estudio de figuras representativas que transcienden en el magisterio deportivo. El artículo, realza la contribución del maestro José María Salvador Quintín Queralt Vallvé (Papá Queralt) en la formación de niños y jóvenes en Cuba. Se utilizó como metodología general la dialéctico-materialista, junto a diferentes métodos teóricos como: análisis-síntesis, histórico-lógico, holístico-dialéctico y hermenéutico-dialéctico, estos permitieron construir los diversos enfoques y presupuestos vinculados como fundamentos teóricos, para su generalización y concreción en una investigación histórico-pedagógica. Este responde a las insuficiencias que se manifiestan en la sistematización de personalidades de la Cultura Física y que trascienden en la formación de los profesionales; se exponen algunos elementos teóricos y metodológicos como basamento que permitan socializar los aspectos más relevantes de su labor pedagógica, desde la perspectiva del análisis histórico-lógico de su pensamiento pedagógico y su práctica educativa. Finalmente, se periodiza su vida y obra pedagógica, y se valora la trascendencia pedagógica de sus aportes en la formación de los profesionales de la Cultura Física en Cuba |
| English abstract | The fundamental objective of the research is to socialize the most relevant aspects of the pedagogical work of Professor José María Salvador QuintínQueraltVallvé (PapáQueralt), by revealing the significance of his contributions to the training of the Professional of Physical Culture in Cuba. A little researched part of the History of Pedagogy is the study of representative figures that transcend the sports teaching profession. The article highlights the contribution of the teacher José María Salvador QuintínQueraltVallvé (PapáQueralt) in the training of children and young people in Cuba. The dialectical-materialist methodology was used as a general methodology, together with different theoretical methods such as: analysis-synthesis, historical-logical, holistic-dialectic and hermeneutic-dialectical, these allowed to build the various approaches and assumptions linked as theoretical foundations, for their generalization and concretion in a historical-pedagogical investigation. This responds to the shortcomings that are manifested in the systematization of personalities of Physical Culture and that transcend in the training of professionals; Some theoretical and methodological elements are exposed as a basis for socializing the most relevant aspects of their pedagogical work, from the perspective of the historical-logical analysis of their pedagogical thinking and their educational practice. Finally, his life and pedagogical work are periodized, and the pedagogical significance of his contributions in the training of professionals of Physical Culture in Cuba is valued |
