| Spanish abstract | En este escrito se presentan las fechas que el Laboratorio de Fechamiento del inah determinó, mediante el análisis de carbono 14, para El Palacio, la Plaza Central, la Plaza Oriente, los conjuntos de juego de pelota 5, 6, 7, 15 y 23, los patios 6, 9, 22, 24 y 1445B, y varias unidades (27) del Proyecto Cantona. En una primera instancia, en la que se consideran las 190 fechas obtenidas para el proyecto, se ubica el apogeo de Cantona entre 150 a. C. y el 650 d. C., y posteriormente, después de descartar las fechas con contextos dudosos, se le ubica entre 150 a. C. y 425 d. C. También se consignan los intervalos de uso calculados para las estructuras con mayor número de fechas |
| English abstract | This paper presents the dates that the Dating Laboratory of the National Institute of Antthropology and History determined, through carbon analysis 14, for samples from: El Palacio, Plaza Central, Plaza Oriente, ball game sets 5, 6, 7, 15 and 23 , yards 6, 9, 22, 24 and 1445B, and several units (27) of the Cantona Project. Initially, when the 190 dates obtained from the project were taken into consideration, the peak of Cantona was placed between 150 BC and AD 650, but later, after discarding dates from doubtful contexts, it was modified to between 150 BC and AD 425. The calculated habitational intervals for the structures with the greatest number of dates are also shown.Keywords: Cantona, radiocarbon dates, habitational intervals |
