| Spanish abstract | La teoría del sistema-mundo de Wallerstein ha logrado una importante significación, apoyada por las críticas del autor al capitalismo y su apoyo a los movimientos antisistémicos. En este trabajo se cuestiona el andamiaje teórico que subyace en su teoría, y la sobredimensión que realiza sobre el sistema-mundo como unidad de análisis, desconociendo la significación de diferentes niveles de abstracción para desentrañar el funcionamiento del capitalismo. Se destaca la pobreza teórica en su análisis del Estado, y otras nociones que terminan por vaciar teóricamente la propia noción de sistema-mundo. Finalmente se pone de manifiesto los problemas que subyacen a sus posicionamientos políticos, la desvalorización de las revoluciones ocurridas en el capitalismo y su desmesurado entusiasmo por la llamada "segunda revolución mundial", iniciada en 1968 |
| English abstract | The Wallerstein's world system theory has important significance, supported by the criticisms of the author to capitalism and its support for the antisystemic movements. In this work is questioned the theoretical scaffolding underlying his theory, and the oversize performs on the world system as unit of analysis, disregarding the significance of different levels of abstraction to unravel the functioning of capitalism. Highlights theoretical poverty in its analysis of the State, and other notions which end up emptying theoretically the notion of world system. Finally gets revealed problems that underlie their political positions, the devaluation of revolutions that occurred in capitalism and excessive enthusiasm for the so-called "second world revolution", started in 1968 |
