| English abstract | This paper presents a reading of the homonyms short stor ies “Agda”, by Hilda Hilst, in terms of the female body and gender repre sentation, as well as the body matter as an item of (dis) aggregation of the being. Members of the volume Kadosh (2002), the texts present narrative strategies and differentiated shapes ; nonetheless, they are connected by the title, by the protagonist nominatio n and by recurring themes, for example, the transgressor Agda’s behavior. The precariousness of the body, the social and cultural investiture i n aging, the collectivity impositions on female beauty and youth are associate the sexuality and eroticism composition as an interior experience (BATAILLE, 2004). | Portuguese abstract | O presente artigo apresenta uma leitura dos contos homônimos "Agda", de Hilda Hilst, em termos da representação do corpo feminino e do gênero, bem como da matéria corporal enquanto item de (des)agregação do ser. Integrantes do volume Kadosh (2002), os textos apresentam estratégias narrativas e formatos diferenciados. No entanto, conectam-se pelo título, pela nomeação da protagonista e por temas recorrentes, como o comportamento transgressor de Agda, por exemplo. A precariedade do corpo, as investiduras socioculturais sobre a velhice, as imposições da coletividade sobre a beleza e juventude femininas se aliam à composição da sexualidade e do erotismo como experiência interior (BATAILLE, 2004).
