| English abstract | Be tween 1962 and 1966, Foucault devoted himself to studies of literary criticism and to the conceptual relationship between literature and language. This article seeks to articulate the concepts that clarify this re lationship and inves tigates the legacies left in this philosopher later works, which belong to a different phase of his thought. In addition to map out the similarities and differences between the called archaeological phase and genealogical phase of his t hought, we intend to answer the question of how literature can be comprehended as a privileged expression of language or as a discursive practice implied to power relationships |
| Portuguese abstract | Entre 1962 e 1966, Foucault se dedicou a estudos de crítica literária e à relação conceitual entre literatura e linguagem. Este artigo procura articular os conceitos do período que esclarecem tal relação e investiga os legados deixados nas obras posteriores do filósofo, reconhecidamente inscritas em uma fase distinta do seu pensamento. Além de mapearmos semelhanças e diferenças entre as chamadas fase arqueológica e fase genealógica de seu pensamento, pretendemos responder à questão de como a literatura é compreendida como expressão privilegiada da linguagem ou como prática discursiva implicada a relações de poder |
