| Spanish abstract | La inter y transdisciplina no son nuevas, pero pretenden serlo. Se ignora su auge inicial en los años setenta, y el debate ideológico que les dio origen. Actualmente se apela a ellas como si fueran intrínsecamente críticas y contrarias a lo establecido; ello, a pesar de la evidencia de que los programas de reconversión tecnocrática de la empresa científica para servicio del gran capital (Gibbons), las proponen enfáticamente como parte de su decisión de eliminar el orden teórico específico, para subordinarlo a la aplicación eficientista. Cualquier uso diferente de lo interdisciplinar debe tematizar su diferencia con esta postulación, no ignorarla |
| English abstract | Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary concepts are not new, but they purport to be. Their peak years in the seventies, not to mention the ideological debates that inspired them, are not widely known. Currently, they are referred to as if they were intrinsically critical and contrary to established thinking; this, in spite of the evidence that technocratic programs to put the scientific community at the service of large–scale capital (Gibbons) insist on them as an integral part of their drive to eliminate specific theoretical order in favor of an efficientist application. Any different use of the interdisciplinary concept should highlight its difference vis–à–vis this postulation, not ignore it |
