| Spanish abstract | Considerando la importancia que representa estudiar los procesos identitarios involucrados en la conformación de las protestas sociales, el presente artículo se plantea dos objetivos. Por un lado, hacer visibles las principales dificultades del estudio de los aspectos identitarios a partir del abordaje propuesto por la teoría de los marcos, desarrollo teórico que se inscribe dentro de las denominadas teorías norteamericanas de las protestas sociales. Y, por otro lado, identificar los aportes de la teoría de la hegemonía elaborada por Ernesto Laclau para analizar la protesta social. De este modo se pretenden mostrar las potencialidades de este último enfoque para comprender la conformación de identidades en las protestas sociales |
| English abstract | Considering the importance that represents the study of identities processes involved in the development of social protests, the present article sets two objectives. On the one hand, to make visible the main difficulties of the study above-mentioned from the point of view proposed by North-American theories. And, on the other hand, to identify the contributions of the hegemony theory elaborated by Ernesto Laclau for the analysis of the social protest. In this way, the intention is to show the potentialities of the latter perspective in relation to the theories considered dominant in the field of study of collective action |
