| Spanish abstract | El artículo busca analizar las diferentes formas de violencia que llevan a los migrantes a huir de su país. Se enfoca en comprender el fenómeno de la expulsión migratoria desde una perspectiva estructural que dirige la atención hacia las relaciones de poder, las desigualdades y las fracturas socioespaciales. La contribución no ignora la violencia relacionada con las pandillas, pero se dedica a visibilizar las otras dimensiones de la violencia que impregnan la realidad migratoria contemporánea. En la primera parte, expongo las condiciones de la investigación etnográfica. En la segunda, discuto diferentes perspectivas teóricas sobre la relación entre violencia y migración. En la tercera parte, propongo escuchar la migración hondureña, dando ampliamente la palabra a los propios migrantes, para profundizar la comprensión de las violencias en origen en tres ámbitos: el íntimo/familiar, el laboral/productivo, el ciudadano/político |
| English abstract | The article seeks to analyze the different forms of violence that lead migrants to flee their country. It focuses on understanding the phenomenon of migratory expulsion from a structural perspective that directs attention to power relations, inequalities and socio-spatial fractures. The contribution does not ignore gang-related violence, but is dedicated to make visible the other dimensions of violence that permeate the contemporary reality of migrations. In the first part, I present the conditions for ethnographic research. In the second part, I discuss different theoretical perspectives on the relationship between violence and migration. In the third part, I propose to listen to Honduran migration, giving the floor to the migrants themselves, in order to deepen the understanding of violence at origin in three areas: the intimate/family, the labor/productive, and the citizen/political |
