| Spanish abstract | La presencia del otro ha cobrado sentido en las discusiones filosóficas y sientan un horizonte para los análisis en Ciencias Sociales. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo examinar los alcances de la teoría de la intersubjetividad propuesta por Edmund Husserl y la teoría de la alteridad propuesta por Emmanuel Lévinas. Ejemplarmente nos muestran dos modos de acceso a la relación con el otro. A partir de la V Meditación Cartesiana (2013) Husserl resitúa la presencia del otro desde su carácter fundante, que nace como empatía original. En Totalidad e Infinito (2016), Lévinas, nos muestra que existe una imposibilidad de reducir la experiencia humana a la pura interioridad, pues la presencia del otro acontece como expresión de sí. Es pura alteridad. |
| English abstract | The presence of the other has gained meaning in philosophical discussions and sets a horizon for analyses in the Social Sciences. This article aims to examine the scope of the theory of intersubjectivity proposed by Edmund Husserl and the theory of otherness proposed by Emmanuel Lévinas. Exemplarily, they show us two ways of accessing the relation with the other. From the V Cartesian Meditation (2013) Husserl resituates the presence of the other from its founding character, which is born as original empathy. In Totality and Infinity (2016), Lévinas shows us that it is impossible to reduce human experience to pure interiority, since the presence of the other occurs as an expression. It is pure otherness. |
