| Resumen en español | El narrador de La tierra del fuego, de Sylvia Iparraguirre, escribe con la finalidad expresa de revisar el texto canónico, cuestionando su mirada etnocéntrica. El relato del protagonista -un mestizo cultural- muestra una versión no registrada en la historia oficial. De esta manera, la novela cuestiona las versiones historiográficas existentes en la narrativa "testimonial" canónica, generando una reinvindicación de lo periférico y desarmando el paradigma positivista occidental. En este trabajo relevamos las estrategias utilizadas para lograr la inversión del texto canónico analizamos los ejes que vinculan la narrativa del espacio con el saber y el poder. Las teorías de Michel Foucault, Edward Soja, Elzbieta Sklodowska, Edward Said y Philippe Hamon han sido de gran utilidad para el estudio que desarrollamos en las siguientes páginas. |
| Resumen en inglés | The narrator of La tierra del fuego, by Sylvia Iparraguirre, writes with the clear intention of revising the canonical text, questioning it's ethnocentric view. The tale of the protagonist -a cultural hybrid- shows a version not registered in the official history. This way, the novel demystifies the historiographic versions existing in the "testimonial" canonical narrative, creating a recognition of the peripheries and dismantling the occidental positivist paradigm. In this work we analyze the strategies used to create an inversion of the canonical text, analyzing the cores that relate the narrative of the space with knowledge and power. The theories of Michel Foucault, Edward Soja, Elzbieta Sklodowska, Edward Said and Philippe Hamon have been of use for the study that we carry out on the following pages. |
