| Spanish abstract | Este artículo analiza dos textos fundamentales de la poesía chilena de los años 80: Tiranade Diego Maquieira y Cipango de Tomás Harris en clave (neo)barroca, para advertir la resignificación de algunas de sus problemáticas más representativas. Se trata de textos que ponen en tensión la idea de representación por medio del travestimiento, el disfraz barroco, en el primer caso, y el engaño de los sentidos, en el segundo, en el contexto de una discusión sobre la temporalidad histórica y el autoritarismo |
| English abstract | This article explores two fundamental texts of Chilean poetry of the 80s: Diego Maquieira´s La Tirana and Tomás Harris´s Cipango in (neo)baroque code, to suggest the redefinition of some of their most representative problematics. These are texts that stress the idea of representation by means of cross-dressing, the baroque costume in the first case, and the deceitfulness of the senses in the second, in the context of a discussion of historical temporality and authoritarianism |
