| English abstract | This paper discusses aspects of Cabral’s poetics by analyzing the poem “A mulher e a casa”, published in “Quaderna”. Notably, the French semiotics concepts of tensivity, iconicity, and plasticity, taken to be powerful analytical tools, are deployed to study both the poem itself and Cabral’s project. More than stressing individual aspects as the woman’s presence, the eroticism, or its dialogue with Le Corbusier, this paper demonstrates that all of them together are crucial to the text meaningfulness. These aspects are intermingled into a complex pattern that confers density on the poetic word in a way that the objects of language (woman, home, and house) are converted into the language of the object – the poem. The poetic sign plasticity invites the reader to adhere to the text. Guided by the poet through the corridors and rooms he creates, the reader accepts the esthesia experience semiotically. | Portuguese abstract | O objetivo deste artigo é tecer algumas considerações sobre a poética cabralina a partir da leitura do poema A mulher e a casa, publicado em Quaderna. Para tanto, serão usados instrumentais da semiótica de linha francesa, notadamente, os conceitos de tensividade, iconicidade e plasticidade, pois se acredita que tal arcabouço teórico permite refl exões interessantes sobre o poema e, extensivamente, sobre o projeto poético de Cabral, apreensível em sua leitura. Mais do que pontuar a existência da fi gura feminina, do erotismo ou dos diálogos com Le Corbusier, todos esses aspectos importantes para o texto em questão, pretende-se mostrar como essas instâncias articulam-se em regime de mistura, confi gurando um adensamento da palavra poética, de modo que se pode perceber a conversão da linguagem dos objetos – casa, mulher em objeto da linguagem – poema. A plasticidade do signo poético seduz o leitor e este, manipulado pela estesia do texto, aceita a jornada. Entre a fratura e a escapatória, é instaurado, então, o espaço intervalar da leitura |
