| Spanish abstract | Nuestro objetivo es ejemplificar el importante papel de las mujeres indígenas en la persecución del desarrollo humano por medio de su actuación ante instancias jurisdiccionales interamericanas; partimos del concepto de desarrollo humano que involucra la vigencia de los derechos humanos. En los casos que comentamos, estas mujeres indígenas provocaron que la Corte IDH se pronunciara sobre derechos individuales de un grupo vulnerable y aplicara los enfoques, de género y étnico, para dar la dimensión adecuada a los derechos violados |
| English abstract | Our goal is to exemplify the important role of indigenous women in the pursuit of human development through their actions before inter-American jurisdictional instance; We start from the concept of human development that involves the validity of human rights. In the cases discussed, these indigenous women caused the Inter-American Court to rule on individual rights of a vulnerable group and it applied to the approaches, gender and ethnicity, to give the appropriate dimension to the rights violated |
