| English abstract | Within contemporary society, the fast transformations in the world of work, the technological advance configuring the virtual society, and the information and communication media, have strongly invaded the Higher Education institution, increasing the challenges to make it into an effective democratic achievement within contemporaneity. Therefore, the present study had the objective to identify aspects relevant to the Higher Education didactics, having as theoretical-practical postulations the contemporary teaching-education pedagogical trends. Therefore, a bibliographical research was conducted based on analysis, reading and listing of pertinent studies. Research data disclose that, under a contemporary perspective regarding Education and Higher Education, teaching is a complex activity for its concomitant convergence of theoretical and practical issues, rooted in everyday confrontation, thus involving the professor in all. Therein, its practice is the result of knowing and making and, above all, being; meaning a commitment with itself, the student, knowledge and the transforming society |
| Portuguese abstract | Na sociedade contemporânea, as rápidas transformações no mundo do trabalho, o avanço tecnológico configurando a sociedade virtual e os meios de informação e comunicação, invadem fortemente a instituição de Ensino Superior, aumentando os desafios para torná-la uma conquista democrática efetiva na contemporaneidade. Portanto, o presente estudo teve como objetivo identificar aspectos relevantes da didática no Ensino Superior, tendo, como pressupostos teórico-práticos, tendências pedagógicas contemporâneas de educação e ensino. Para tanto, optou-se por uma pesquisa bibliográfica, pautada em análise, leitura e fichamento de obras pertinentes ao assunto abordado. Os dados da pesquisa revelam que, na perspectiva contemporânea de educação e ensino superior, a docência se apresenta como uma atividade complexa, pela convergência concomitante de questões teóricas e práticas, com origens no enfrentamento do cotidiano, envolvendo o professor na sua totalidade. Nesse sentido, sua prática é resultado do saber e do fazer e, sobretudo, do ser, significando um compromisso consigo mesmo, com o aluno, com o conhecimento e com a sociedade em transformação |
