| Spanish abstract | En la globalizacion la produccion de tequila, mezcal y cerveza enfrenta un proceso de modificacion y cambio que ha afectado tanto la produccion en fabrica como la comercialiacion internacional. Este proceso ha permitido que el incremento de la venta de tequila se dé por el control que las empresas trasnacionales han logrado a traves de la manipulacion y control de la venta del tequila y del mezcal. La cerveza, si bien ha alcanzado ventas mundiales, ha sido por otra vía, y ha generado el fortalecimiento de dos marcas nacionales |
| English abstract | Troughout globalization, the production of tequila, mezcal and beer face a process of modification and change that has affected both factory production and international marketing. This process has allowed for the increase in tequila sales to be achieved thanks to the control that transnational businesses have attained through manipulation and control of tequila and mezcal sales. Although beer has reached world sales, it has been of a different kind and has fostered strengthening of two national brands |
