| Spanish abstract | El presente texto es fruto de la investigación titulada “Cirugías cosméticas: entre la demanda y el deseo” realizado conjuntamente por investigadores de los grupos Psicoanálisis, sujeto y sociedad de la Universidad de Antioquia y el grupo Clínica y salud mental de la Universidad Católica Popular de Risaralda, entre los años 2007- 20092. El artículo indaga las consecuencias de un hecho de estructura, demostrado por la clínica psicoanalítica, como es la hiancia entre demanda y deseo, y de cómo el campo de las cirugías cosméticas se constituye en un espacio privilegiado para su puesta a prueba |
| English abstract | This paper is the result of a research titled “Cosmetic Surgeries: Between Lawsuit and Desire”, jointly developed by researchers from the Psychoanalysis, Subject and Society Group of the University of Antioquia; and the Clinic and Mental Health Group of the UCPR (Popular Catholic University of Risaralda) in 2007-20093. This article analyzes the consequences of a fact of structure, demonstrated by the psychoanalytic clinic, such as the hiatusness (gap) between lawsuit and desire, and explains how the field of cosmetic surgeries is a privileged area to put this to the test |
