| Spanish abstract | El trabajo es una exploración a la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) y tiene por objetivo mostrar el contexto general del fenómeno, el origen y evolución de las ideas que lo integran, se revisan las iniciativas más destacadas y se observan las áreas de oportunidad. En las prácticas de la RSE se distinguen conceptos de filosofía, cultura, gestión, comportamiento, compromiso voluntario y desarrollo sostenible. Con base en estas ideas se propone la siguiente definición de RSE: “Filosofía para orientar las prácticas gerenciales hacia un comportamiento organizacional responsable, que contribuya, fomente, procure y promueva el bienestar social y salud ambiental” |
| English abstract | This essay is an exploration to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and must by objective show phenomenon general context, the origin and evolution of the ideas that integrate it, the most outstanding initiatives are reviewed and the opportunity areas are observed. The CSR practices are distinguished by concepts of philosophy, culture, management behavior, voluntary commitment and sustainable development, based on these ideas as proposal the following concept: “Philosophy to guide managerial practices towards responsible organizational behavior, which contributes, fosters, seek, and promote social welfare and environmental health” |
