| Spanish abstract | El presente trabajo aborda el pensamiento de Cornelius Castoriadis con el fin de enfatizar la importancia de lo imaginario en el orden creador de las sociedades, como referente de las subjetividades y su reflejo en la autonomía de las mismas. Primero se aborda la relación del inconsciente con las representaciones instituidas como el lenguaje, a través de la teoría psicoanalítica. Después se subraya la importancia de la imaginación en la constitución del saber y el pensar, no como un elemento reproductivo de la sociedad, sino como un factor creador de ella. Por último, en un plano político, se observa el poder reflexivo de los individuos para la formación de sociedades autónomas y participativas del poder |
| English abstract | The following article raises the thinking of Cornelius Castoriadis to emphasize the importance of the imaginary in the creation of societies, as a reference of subjectivity and a basis of autonomy. First, the article suggests the relation between the unconscious and the institutionalized representations like language using the psychoanalysis theory. Then, it remarks on the significance of imagination in the constitution of knowledge and thinking, as a creator of society, not just as a copy of it. Finally, in a political approach, the article talks about the reflexive faculty of individuals for the formation of autonomous societies which have influence in the distribution of power |
