| Spanish abstract | El presente artículo toma como punto de partida un montaje de “La Orestíada” para reflexionar en torno al teatro y la sociedad contemporáneos, presentando una breve descripción de los elementos constitutivos del montaje. El análisis se centra en la imagen de Atenea que el montaje nos presenta y la cual es muestra de diversos procesos de transformación, de lo simbólico a lo sígnico, del matriarcalismo al patriarcalismo, de la tragedia griega al teatro contemporáneo y de éste a la televisión; al mismo tiempo que nos ofrece diferentes posibilidades de reflexión sobre la sociedad contemporánea, la televisión, la justicia y la divinidad |
| English abstract | This article takes as its starting point a production of “The Oresteia” to reflect on the drama and contemporary society, presenting a brief description of the elements of the production. The analysis focuses on the image of Athena that the production presents and which is indicative of different processes of transformation of the symbolic to the rational thing, the matriarchal to patriarchal, Greek tragedy to contemporary theater and from there to TV And at the same time it offers different possibilities for reflection on contemporary society, television, justice and divinity |
