| Spanish abstract | Este artículo rescata la ingente discusión sobre la novela Los días terrenales de José Revueltas, en el plano de la interpretación filosófica. Proponemos una lectura de Los días terrenales a través del instrumental propio de la filosofía en su dimensión dialéctica, que atienda el significativo elenco de problemas filosóficos que Revueltas convoca a través del trazo de un gran mural existencial y humano. Se invoca, para este propósito, a los fantasmas de Andrei Zhdánov y Blaise Pascal, cuyas ideas respecto del arte, la vida, el absoluto, el compromiso político o moral y, finalmente, la condición humana, guían la complejidad de un autor en su doble condición de escritor comunista y de comunista que escribe |
| English abstract | This article rescues the enormous discussion about the novel Los días terrenales, by José Revueltas in the plane of philosophical interpretation. A reading of Los días terrenales is proposed through the proper instruments of philosophy in its dialectical dimension, through which the significant cast of philosophical problems that Revueltas summons with the construction of a great existential and human mural can be addressed. For this purpose, the ghost of Andrei Zhdánov y Blaise Pascal are invoked: their ideas regarding art, life, the absolute, political or moral commitment and, finally, the human condition guide the complexity of an author in his being both a communist writer and a communist who writes |
