| Spanish abstract | En este ensayo se hace el seguimiento comparatista del motivo del des/encuentro de los amantes pertenecientes a ámbitos ontológicos distintos (vida/muerte, vigilia/sueño), expresado en figuras fantásticas como empusas, fantasmas y vampiras. El punto de partida es una historia de Apolonio de Tiana según el texto de Filóstrato, que fue recuperada por Goethe en La novia de Corinto, retomada por autores del siglo XIX como Théophile Gautier y Amado Nervo, y reelaborada por Carlos Fuentes en el siglo XX, en su novela Aura, con el añadido de un autor japonés del siglo XVIII, Ueda Akinari, que escribió historias en esa línea |
| English abstract | In this essay the comparative follow-up of the motive of the dis / encounter of lovers belonging to different ontological fields (life / death, wakefulness / sleep), expressed in fantastic figures such as empusas, ghosts and vampires is carried out. The starting point is a story of Apollonius of Tiana according to the text of Philostratus, which was recovered by Goethe in The Bride of Corinth, taken up by 19th Century authors such as Théophile Gautier and Amado Nervo, and reworked by Carlos Fuentes in the 20th Century, in his novel Aura, with the addition of an 18th Century Japanese author, Ueda Akinari, who wrote stories along these lines |
