| Spanish abstract | La importancia de este estudio es resaltar los valores ausentes o negados en la praxis universitaria, para la toma de consciencia y trabajar los valores que deben favorecer el ambiente universitario y más aún en el campo de la salud. La formación que se le brinde al profesional de la salud debe partir de la realidad circundante y responder a las necesidades que éstas implican. La educación es la fuente de los valores donde se aprenden las grandes virtudes. Su importancia consiste en que el hombre logre su propia autodeterminación como persona. Esta tarea educativa no es posible son la cooperación de las instituciones, en este caso la universidad, por ello es imprescindible trabajar de la mano, acompañando el proceso de formación integral desde un proyecto de vida. Por eso, este estudio busca resaltar y aportar los valores que hay que resaltar desde el quehacer educativo y aportar a la educación superior un aspecto por seguir trabajando |
| English abstract | The importance of this study is to highlight missing or denied values within the University praxis, to help the decition making process and to work around the values that should support the university ambience and even more to the field of health. The instruction to be provided to the health professionals should be created based on the reality around us and act in response to the needs this reality implies. Education is the source of values where great virtues can be learned. Its importance consists in that the man will achieve self-determination as a human being. This educational challenge would not be posible without the institutionss involvement; on this case, the University. For this reason, it is imperative to work hand by hand accompanying the process of integral training from a project of life. That said, this study is intended to provide the values that needs to be emphasized from the initial educational commitment and to provide to the higher education system a meaning to keep working |
