| English abstract | The interfaces suggested in this work are divided into: theoretical/conceptual, as in the connections between neolamarckism and the Skinnerian theory, and also in debates about the concept of the modified organism; empirical, as in the investigation of processes that occur under the skin during organism/environment interactions and in the research of processes that acquire environmental function (as in operant learning); and possibilities of intervention, as in the identification of changes in the organism before a new repertoire has been installed or the effect of epigenetic pharmacotherapeutic interventions on the relationship of the organism with the environment. Some caution is needed in these interfaces, since findings with human beings still lack more robust results and there is still some uncertainty about the degree of influence of the environment on the organism and about how such influence occurs. Thus, the collaboration between researchers in both fields seems promising and even necessary for an adequate evaluation of the relevance of the results of Epigenetics for Behavioral Analysis |
| Portuguese abstract | Algum cuidado é necessário nessas aproximações, uma vez que os achados com seres humanos ainda carecem de resultados mais robustos e que ainda há certa indefinição sobre o grau de influência do ambiente no organismo e sobre como tal influência se dá.
