| English abstract | Understanding that the relation between the scientific G eography and other scientific knowledge , such as literature, can lead us to rethink human relationships with the space, we bring this text. Designed from the details of a narrative of children's literature, our attention is drawn to a parti cular point of his textuality when treat ing the idea of location and orientation in geographic space. Reshaping a classic theme of Geography teaching , given by the relation human - body - heavenly body , Monte iro Lobato prints originality when address ing the spatial orientation of the human body - life experience, t riggering a process of rethinking the place by the geographical experience of space |
| Portuguese abstract | Entendendo que a relação estabelecida entre a Geografia científica e outros saberes, como o da literatura, pode nos levar a repensar as relações humanas com o espaço, trazemos este texto. Concebido a partir dos detalhes de uma narrativa da literatura infantil, chama-nos a atenção um ponto particular de sua textualidade ao tratar da concepção de localização e de orientação no espaço geográfico. Reformulando um tema clássico do ensino de Geografia, dado pela relação corpo humano-astro celeste, Monteiro Lobato imprime originalidade ao abordar a orientação espacial, a do corpo humano-experiência de vida, provocando um processo de repensar o lugar pela experiência geográfica do espaço |
