Resumen en inglés | In this analysis of the history of the Guarani there are importantelements to our study. The main element is the conflict generated by the colonizers, of imposing to the Guarani their strange way of living, and the obstinate resistance of the later to continue to live according to teko katu (“good costumes”). We understand that, at the present, the Guarani culture is connected mostly to the contact situations and been marked by the differences between old and new, and by the capacity of the Guarani to react based on their own recourses to the advances of the occidental Christian civilization. Then, the Guarani seeked to act on this new reality adapting themselves to it and adapting it to their goals |
