| Resumen en inglés | A study was carried out with the objective of developing a proposal for capacitating intervention to assess the competence of physicians who care for patients with phenylketonuria on the comprehensive management of the same in the Primary Health Care and the Pediatric Hospital "Pedro Agustín Perez". The universe consists of physicians belonging to the Primary Health Care Policlinic " 4 de Abril " and the Pediatric Hospital "Pedro Agustín Perez". In this universe a stratified random sample of size 60, taking as strata specialists in General Integral Medicine (MGI), specialists in pediatrics, and medical residents MGI. The variables are used: scientific category, level of knowledge, behavior of the most significant scientific criteria by category. Little knowledge of the comprehensive management of patients with phenylketonuria is demonstrated. |
| Resumen en español | Se realiza un estudio con el objetivo de elaborar una propuesta de intervención capacitante para evaluar la competencia de los médicos que atienden pacientes con fenilcetonuria sobre el manejo integral de los mismos en la Atención Primaria de Salud y en el Hospital Pediátrico "Pedro Agustín Pérez". El universo está constituido por los médicos pertenecientes a la Atención Primaria de Salud del Policlínico Universitario "4 de Agosto" y al Hospital Pediátrico "Pedro Agustín Pérez". De este universo se realiza un muestreo aleatorio estratificado de tamaño 60, tomando como estratos a especialistas en Medicina General Integral (MGI), especialistas en Pediatría, residentes en MGI y médicos en práctica profesional. Las variables utilizadas son: categoría científica, nivel de conocimiento, comportamiento de los criterios más significativos según categoría científica. Se demuestra el poco conocimiento del manejo integral del paciente con fenilcetonuria. |
